Please consider joining our Rotary Wakamow Club Monday, December 9, 2024 as we support the Rotary Club of Moose Jaw's annual Carol Festival. The festival features many talented vocal and instrumental groups and is always very entertaining! There is no admission cost, but a free-will offering will occur at the event.

Please meet in the church lobby at 6:45 p.m. and we will find seats together.

A Christmas Dinner is being served to those in need at Zion United Church

Please join us as we celebrate Christmas with both Rotary Clubs! Cocktails at 6:00 p.m., supper at 6:30 p.m. Supper will be catered by Charlotte's Catering. Cost is $40 p.p. (food, facility rental, liquor license). The more persons attending, the cheaper the cost. Please note, you will need to supply your own beverages.

Our Rotary Club has been invited to attend Square One to view the video A Home to Call My Own. We will meet with Mary Lee Booth, the producer of the video, where there will be an opportunity for questions. 

Please join us for an evening with both clubs enjoying the foods of Nigeria at DeeBesties Restaurant in Moose Jaw. DeeBesties offers a diverse menu featuring traditional Nigerian dishes that are sure to please! You have the option of pre-ordering your meal. The menu can be accessed online. RSVP by January 17, 2025.

An evening to orient members on Social Media usage. The session will take place at Lindale School, 1322 11th Avenue NW, Moose Jaw (main door). Please RSVP by March 7, 2025.

Join both clubs as we enjoy friendly games of pool. If we have 10-12 persons, Dooly's will arrange a tournament for us. For supper, we propose that we order food in; i.e. pizza or Mad Greek ribs and caesar salad.  Cost would be divided between those attending. Cost for the tourney would be $10/p.p. Please RSVP by March 12, 2025.

RSVP by March 21, 2025. The regular business meeting will conclude by 7:30 to join a Zoom meeting with our Sister Club of Nueva Guatemala. This will be a wrap up meeting for the Global Grant WASH project, led by them with us as their international partners. It is a wonderful example of how Rotary Clubs can work together to build a better world. There will be opportunity for members to ask a question or make a comment to our Sister Club.

Join both clubs as we enagage in a Court Whist tournament. No experience necessary, rules of play will be discussed ahead of time! Please bring an easily served dessert, i.e. squares.

Volunteers needed to help serve lunch to the hungry at Zion Church

BYOB and Glass
Venues- 3 venues needed....1 for Appies, 1 for Main Course, 1 for Dessert.  Each Venue provides a surprise food.  This is to be a Multicultural Experience, so it doesn't matter if the Appies are Viet Tai, The Main Course Italian and the Dessert German!
The group moves from the  "Appie Venue" to the "Main Course Venue" to the "Dessert Venue" enjoying the food as they go.  BYOB to enjoy with your meal.  
It might be a nice idea if 2 people volunteered to provide the main course, as it is a more expensive venture.
RSVP by Tuesday, April 29, so preparations can be made. Also, please indicate if you can provide one of the 3 venues and the food that will be served there, but keep the type of food you will be serving a secret.
